Tender for Transport Services

Sealed Tenders are invited from interested parties to offer freight services for transport of materials from one station to other station as given in the Annexure-1. The estimated freight value during the period of Agreement is Rs 50 Crores (this amount should not be treated as assurance in any manner and indicative only without any nature of commitment or obligation on the part of Company)

It is informed that the materials to be transported shall be mainly particle board, MDF board, laminates, furniture, paper chemicals & other similar items. The rates are required to be offered in the vehicle load of 9 tons, 15 tons & 16 tons.

It may be noted that:

1. The selected party will need to execute the agreement with the Company in the format attached at annexure-2 & all the conditions of the agreement need to be accepted by the Applicant/interested parties..

2. The Agreement period will be minimum 3 years, which can be extended by the Company by another 1 year.

3. The price offered in the Agreement will be firm for the entire period of the Agreement except variations permitted for diesel cost according to the formula mentioned in the Agreement.

4. The payment terms will be 2 months from the date of LR/GC, however for admitting the bills for payment by the company, receipted POD will be must.

5. Company may pay interest free upfront agreed amount also to the selected transporter against guarantee by the party to be given in the manner prescribed by the Company which will be recovered from the transporter by deducting specified percentage from the bill amount accepted by the Company during the period of Agreement.

6. The applicant should have minimum net worth of Rs. 30 crores as on 31.03.2010 and minimum total turnover of Rs. 300 crores in last 3 financial years (total of F.Y 07-08, 08-09 & 09-10).

7. Along with offer the Applicant should submit:

   1. a. Audited Balance sheet for last 3 years. In case the audited Balance Sheet for F.Y. 09-10 is not available, provisional Balance Sheet certified by Chartered Accountants may be submitted.

   2. Copy of Partnership Deed/Memorandum & Articles of Association

   3. Name of the Bankers

   4. List of existing clients

   5. List of key personnel

   6. Details of resources, branch offices and infrastructure

   7. Vendor registration form

   8. Requirement of affront amount and manner of deduction proposed

   9. Any other documents to support the credentials and strength
       

8. The applicant should also make payment of Rs. 5.0 lakh in favour of Shirdi Industries Limited as earnest deposit along with his offer. This amount will be returned if the offer is not accepted.

9. The company may at its own discretion choose single or multiple vendors also for the freight services.

10. The offer should be received by the Company on or before 15/07.2010.
